Media and Photoshop

In today’s world, you really can’t trust what you see in a photo. Magazines and adds have been photoshopping their photos for years. Instagram is no better, we assume that because it’s a social medial site, those photos are untouched. I came across this video the other day and am thankful I am surrounded by strong likeminded women. Making the shift from focusing on what your body can accomplish rather that what it looks like has made a huge impact in my life. I personally prefer they way these girls look originally, muscles are a sign of hard work! Get it ladies!

Love this Nene! I’ve definitely met the struggle of having men tell me I’m too muscular or my traps are too big… It used to affect me but now I love it! I actually had a man close to me tell me a woman wasn’t meant to have muscles or be strong.. like are you effing kidding me?! I love being and looking strong. Girl Power!
