And just like that…more dumbbells! Right off the bat this workout looks like quite the forearm burner, so might be smart to do what you can to limit any forearm lactic acid build up. Check it out…

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 12 minutes of:
2 rounds of:
50-ft. weighted walking lunge
16 toes-to-bars
8 power cleans
Then, 2 rounds of:
50-ft. weighted walking lunge
16 bar muscle-ups
8 power cleans
Etc., alternating between toes-to-bars and bar muscle-ups every 2 rounds.

Women use 35-lb. dumbbells

Men use 50-lb dumbbells

Some tips to think about…

  1. Break up everything on the pull up bar right from the get go! More than you think also!
  2. Make sure to rest after your 7th DB power clean, that way after the 8th you can go right into the lunges.
  3. Rest after each 25′ DB Walking Lunge
  4. If you’re close to getting your first bar muscle up, think about going with the RxD version instead of jumping right into the scaled version!
