CrossFit Sweat Shop – Walnut Creek

On-Ramp

While we don’t require new members to complete our On-Ramp program, graduates from the program enjoy the added benefit of learning the fundamentals of CrossFit during the 4 week course prepared and taught by Sweat Shop coach, and St. Mary’s College Kinesiology teacher,  James Barber.

For those interested in starting CrossFit, but prefer a slower start to the classes, On-Ramp program is a perfect fit.

Details:
– The program consists of 8 sessions (Class offered twice a week and completed in 4 weeks).
– The classes are 1-hour long
– Class sizes are small (8-person cap) as we will have a deeper focus on the fundamentals and safety practices of the movements.
– The class will start with an intro to a basic movement (i.e. squat) and there will be a short workout at the end of each session.
– Each session will get progressively more challenging as the movements become more dynamic, as well as the intensity of the workout increases.
– At the conclusion of the 8 sessions, members will be more than prepared to join the regular classes.
–  The cost is $164 for 8 sessions.
