Featured Athlete: Eric L.
Most people would describe Eric as a quite dude, … a mysterious dude that always has a new Porsche. Even after being a Sweat Shop member for more than 2 years, I’m still finding out new things about Eric. Just recently he helped coached Jacqueline, Bri, and Helen in the pool as they prepared for the CrossFit Games (Jacqueline) and Granite Games (Helen & Bri). They all agreed that Eric is an AMAZING swim coach! You’d never know it though, he quietly comes in, and gets work done at the gym. While he’s not the loud and outgoing type, if you do talk with him, you’ll quickly realize he’s a really nice dude. Next time he’s shirtless, ask him to demonstrate the trademark swimmer “lat-slap” move… apparently lots of swimmers can do it, but I find it crazy weird and impossible to replicate myself. Nonetheless, read more about Eric below!
Name: Eric Lopez a.k.a E-Lo, a.k.a Ricardo Froning

I remember the first time I met Eric at the Sweat Shop. He had a big smile and was so nice and so positive! Nothing has changed. Love his funny comments before, during, and after workouts. He usually says what I’m feeling. Lol! Your 8:15 gym mates love you, Eric! 🙂

I LOVE these “featured athlete series”! But, when I saw it was you, I got even extra excited 🙂
Can you just be contagious….I want all your coolness to rub off on me LOL. You unknowingly, just make people feel good. Eric Elo….Ricardo YES…..You are just that kind of an amazing guy….. the one who in one session, taught me how to take a breath freestyling. That all put aside, you are the most sincere, loving and humble man! Simply a jewel to the deepest facet of quality. Btw a burger is not cheating, the shake and fries tho… smh 🙂
