  • How long have you been doing CrossFit?
  • 2 years

 

  • What were you doing for exercise before CrossFit?
  • Not much. I was the girl that would putz around the gym going between the treadmill and elliptical. I was too intimidated to go into the free weights area.

 

  • How did you begin training at CrossFit Sweat Shop?
  • A friend of mine (that also told me to try CrossFit 7 years ago) came to visit and I dropped her off at Sweatshop for a drop in. I signed up for a trial session a week or two after and the rest is history.

 

  • What has been the most significant benefit or change since you’ve been a member of the Sweat Shop?
  • Less stress and better sleep.

 

  • What is your favorite exercise or workout?
  • Any overhead shoulder bar/db work or things that help me with rope climbs, push-ups and pull ups.

 

  • What is your least favorite exercise or workout?
  • Wall balls
  • What is your favorite cheat meal/snack?
  • The inner child in me loves allllll the junk food snacks: sour patch kids, hot tamales, muddy buddies, Chick fil A…

 

 

  • What do you enjoy most about training at CrossFit Sweat Shop?
  • The coaches and members are what make Sweatshop the best. It makes it worth turning up day after day!

 

  • Now that you’ve been doing CrossFit, what’s one thing you could never see yourself doing again?  (workout, nutrition, lifestyle, etc.)
  • I can’t see myself not going to the gym anymore

 

  • What is your proudest exercise related achievement?
  • A real push up!

 

  • What advice would you give someone who is hesitant to try CrossFit?
  • Take full advantage of the fundamentals courses. It will help build a great foundation for all the movements. Weights don’t make you bulky and the gym really isn’t that intimidating. Everyone that I have met through CrossFit has been very helpful and supportive.

 

  • What is your most sought after exercise goal?
  • A real pull up

 

  • What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit?
  • I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Usually BBQing and swimming in our yard.

 

  • What is something you have recently purchased for less than $100 (or acquired for free) that you thoroughly enjoy and would recommend to others?
  • My Fabfitfun box… It’s fun to get goodies in the mail

 

  • Any advice you would give your 25 year old self?
  • You only have one body, take care of it

    I’m so impressed with how far Angela has come since she started! It doesn’t seem like that long ago that the empty 15lb. barbell was a struggle! Awesome work Angela!! 👍
